New Enefit Volt chargers make Ülemiste Centre Estonia’s largest public fast charging park for electric vehicles
Ülemiste Centre has become an even greener and more convenient stop for electric vehicle owners. The shopping centre’s indoor parking now features seven 50 kW and one 22 kW electric vehicle chargers, while the outdoor parking area includes one 22 kW and one 50 kW charger, which will have its capacity increased to a remarkable 120 kW in the future.
Following the installation of the new chargers, up to 20 electric vehicles can be charged simultaneously at Ülemiste Centre.

"Ülemiste’s wide range of products, services, and entertainment options caters to those who want to find everything they need in one place, as well as to those who simply wish to take a break and treat themselves to something nice," said Ülemiste Centre's director, Guido Pärnits. "It is important to offer all electric vehicle owners a convenient way to charge their vehicles at the same time," he added.
Chargers that are always nearby
Viljar Kont, head of Enefit Volt's Estonian market, stated that when planning new charging points and updating existing ones, the Enefit Volt team always ensures that using the chargers is convenient and within easy reach for electric vehicle owners. "We install Enefit Volt chargers near grocery stores and shopping centres so that visitors can leave their cars to charge while they attend to other errands. This significantly saves time," said Kont, adding that compared to ultra-fast chargers, charging at fast chargers is more affordable. On the other hand, the charging speed is sufficient to add kilometres to the vehicle during the visit to the centre.
